Lion Habitat Ranch

Really enjoyed my tour. Very interesting to learn about the lions - and see their different personalities. Also fun to learn about the birds, the giraffe (Ozzie), and other cool animals. I already recommended this place to my friends and family! I paid extra to feed one of the lion (Benny) and did a painting with Ozzie. Both experiences were great and would love to go back the next time I visit.

I chose the behind the scenes tour, it was worth it! I had to pay for a cab to and from the Lion Habitat Ranch in Henderson, Nevada. I wish there had been an easier way to get there, but I wouldn't have missed this adventure for anything! Lots of people I talked with didn't even know this place existed! All lions at the habitat ranch are fed by hand, by the trainers, so you see them close up! To see a giraffe actually paint is SUPER!

I had a really wonderful morning! I went with the Behind the Scenes Tour so I could go before the general admission, and because I'm kind of an early riser. I bought a painting that was painted by their giraffe, and had a wonderful time listening to the lions roar to each other. You will not be disappointed in this experience, it was fantastic.
