I booked this tour because the offload aspect appealed to me rather then the usual tourist spots. Our guide was great very knowledgeable and took us off the beaten path. This only lasted about 2.5 hours then we were dropped off in Kuranda. This was a waste. There is nothing cultural about this town just a cute small shopping commercial town if that's what you want. We did have a good lunch there and I bought a Real didgeridoo from a local musician so that was fun. Then took the train down to town which was good and a bus picked us up and returned us to the hotel.

Did a drive up and over the mountain in a 4-wheel drive. The guide was very knowledgable about the birds and the area. Dropped off at the top of the skyrail and train. Stayed in the town. Lots of tourist stuff. Try the meat pies. Skyrail has some beautiful views.
