What a great day of quiet, awesome views! Lovely view and history of the city, great up close and personal tour of the rainforest. Wonderful spotting of animals and birds. Kevin is a great tour guide. Funny, informative, passionate about nature. This tour includes lovely tea, a homemade lunch in a natural outdoor setting and an afternoon ice cream treat at a family owned business! We loved spending the day with an Aussie, learning about his family, his neighbors and his country. Great family outing... you will not be disappointed!
Kevin was an outstanding guide! He kept us laughing while exposing us to amazing views. He also provided us with great commentary about the history of the area as well as plants and animals. The tour is very interesting and it’s worth the money. I would recommend it 1000 times. It is camera and drone safe, in case someone wants to bring them along and doesn’t know if it’s a good idea. We have been picked up from our hotel at 8:00 and it was great. The guide is very friendly and knows how tho entertain you all the tour long, he shared many many info and had a chance to show us many animals and plants/trees. The tour is based on a little walk experience which can be done with proper shoes, but not with “thongs”. The 4WD part of the tour is also very 4WD, so it goes in tracks where you really need a 4WD car, we had to remove trees fallen on the track as none else was driving there very often, we also drove throug different rivers and the lunch time was amazing for the enviroment and the view. Also the morning tea was awesome and in a great location. The last location is the best one, and also where I was regreating I didn’t have my drone with me. Very interesting things to see and to know, and a very friendly and full of knowledge guide, are going to be a very good mix for this rainforest tour.

DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR!!! Kevin's love for the wilderness and the wildlife that live is obvious the first minute you meet him. If ever there was a real live Crocodile Dundee of the rainforest Kevin is your guy! His quick humor and engaging spirit ensures that everyone has an awesome time. Because of circumstances beyond our control, Kevin agreed to reschedule us and took us out on his day off and showed us the wilderness and the outback! Incredible sightings of Lace monitors, a pair of musky rat kangaroos, numerous bird sightings, beautiful butterflies and Kevin's extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna made the day fly by and topped off with handmade icecream and a swim in a pool on Davis creek. There is a reason that he is so highly rated. Bloody good time mate! Thanks from Shawn and the family.

Our final day visiting Cairns consisted of a delightful tour filled with short walking hikes, gorgeous rainforest scenery, exclusive mountain access with local sights, sounds, fauna & flora and we loved every minute of it. Our guide Kevin clearly enjoys his job as well which made it so much more enjoyable too. From learning how to speak as an Aussie, to the historical stories and fun jokes, Kevin kept us entertained throughout our journey and for that we are thankful. The local ice creamery was a nice treat on a hot day, and taking a dip in the same waterfall from the 'Great Northern Beer's' commercial was a refreshing end to the day. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone interested in the area!

I spent two weeks in Queensland and a long weekend in Sydney and this tour was my favorite day of the entire trip! You can tell that this is just not a business for Kevin (the owner/operator), but his passion. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and truly enjoys sharing it with his guests. He even brings fresh fruit from his garden to share. On this tour you actually get to see and experience the beautiful wilderness of Queensland, instead of trying to figure out how to crop the 100 other tourists at the same spot out of your photos. On our all day tour we only saw a handful of other tourists the entire day and in many spots we were the only ones there!!! It was great being in a four wheel drive vehicle which let us go where other tours cannot. I already recommended Kevin's tour to a few others while I was still in Cairns, but wanted to make sure I posted a review on here as well. It was truly an unforgettable day. Thank you Kevin. (And please thank your wife for the amazing potato salad we had with lunch.)

We enjoyed our day with Kevin more than words describe. He is very knowledgeable about Cairns and the surrounding area. It is great to have a small guided tour where you can take your time and really discover and learn about the local area. From the off-roading, to home made ice cream, waterfalls and wild kangaroo's, we could not have asked for more. It was a great experience. I would very much recommend spending a day with Kevin on the 4WD tour from Cairns!!
