You MUST do this tour when you are in Dubrovnik!

Everything was perfect... the communication with Marija, the drive to & from the farm in Lovorno and the amazing cooking class with the Mujo family. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovely hand-made liquor, quince, almonds and figs on the beautiful patio shaded by perfectly groomed grapevines. From there, we toured the kitchen, donned our aprons and went out to the lovely gardens to pick fruits & vegetables. After making some quick breads and prepping the vegetables, we took a break to go to a nearby farm to feed and milk goats and pick-up some lovely goat cheese made by a neighbor. Back at the farm, we enjoyed a lovely charcuterie board and estate wines, followed by a delicious typical mid-day meal of vegetable soup, potatoes, grilled skewered meat & sausage, salad, fresh bread and dessert. Every moment of this tour was special; from the hosts, to the location, to the food and wine! It was a perfect day with plenty of food, wonderful conversation and gracious hosts. You must do this tour when you are in Dubrovnik.

This experience was INCREDIBLE! Our guide was so kind and personable. It was very cool to be integrated into the family life - we got to pick fresh vegetables and fruits from the garden which tasted incredible and also meet some other family members. We loved everything about the experience and would recommend it to everyone!

An Authentic Evening

My 19 year old daughter and I went to this cooking class and it was a most wonderful and memorable experience. Our driver was prompt, gracious and kind. Our hosts were very gracious, knowledgeable and fun. I loved every minute of this! We made bread, picked fresh vegetables from the beautiful garden, took a walk around the property to take in the view of this bucolic area. We had a wonderful meal and plenty of wine. The family's children even came out to perform some traditional Croatian dance for us (a little bonus since they were already performing that day). I would do this again.

We had the fortunate experience to...

We had the fortunate experience to meet both Marija our guide and Dragica our chef when we did this class. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience , driving to the countryside and going to a village. Dragica amazed us with her energy and virtually use all home grown products in the cooking. As a result of this experience my husband is getting a Croatian cake for his birthday. Marija was a fount of local knowledge.
