So much fun! My wife and I booked this class for our honeymoon and it was a blast! The chef was funny and informative and gave us great instructions. Our 8 person group was awesome! After our delicious dinner we all hung out and enjoyed a few bottles of wine together which only enhanced our experience. If you’re looking for a fun experience I highly recommend this pasta making class!

Our family of 5 loved this cooking class with Chef Vary. After finding out our group’s likes and dislikes, she created a delicious menu of pear and leek ravioli and pasta with double tomato sauce. We prepared the whole meal under her instructions and learned not only how to make pasta but also how to kneed dough and some new knife skills! It was so much fun and we enjoyed a delicious lunch with wine afterwards. Highly recommend this class with Chef Vary!!

This was our family's highlight of our week in Italy! Chef Vary was amazing! She was funny and kind. She asked us what types of food we had been eating, what we liked and disliked and prepared a menu based on our preferences. We made pesto pasta with tomatoes and raviolis stuffed with pears. Both were amazing. Unlike some other "cooking class" we actually did all of the cooking! With the exception of of my wife, my kids and I were complete novices. Chef Vary was very good at making us feel comfortable and showed us what we needed to do. In addition to our family of 4 there were three other people in the class. We all worked together and then once the meal was prepared we all ate our creations together. Of all of our meals in Italy, this was the best tasting and the most fun! I will definitely recommend this class to anyone going to Florence!

Chef Vary provided a fun and educational class on pasta making. Her style was delightful and she made the time fly by. The pasta was sensational and I’d recommend this class to everyone. The wine she provided was excellent as well.

This recipe of a grand time begins with our teacher, Varri. She has over 30 years experience teaching about the various delicacies of Florence and Italian food. She is bright, spirited, knowledgeable, fun, and gentle as a lamb. We love her. The menu for the night was chosen by the small group (6) rather than a pre-planned meal. We owned it. All ingredients were the freshest and most flavorful. The surround table (made by the cooks husband) allowed everyone a place in the learning/activity environment. And oh how the fresh, natural wines flowed. It was a night we'll not only remember, but will treasure. Florence has such art & architecture but their foods are also a large part of their historical culture. Be prepared to soak in an experience you’ll keep forever. Christian & Tracy Molidor

What a wonderful experience. From allowing the group to select their favorite ingredients to serving delicious wine this class was awesome. Maximum class size is 8 which Was the perfect size. If you are hoping to do a pasta class while visiting Italy, don’t miss this one!

All I dreamed and more

This was my favorite thing we did on our 2 week trip to Italy. Our teacher was everything I dreamed her to be. She selected fresh ingredients from the morning market and created the dishes from our preferences on the spot. We made ravioli filled with ricotta and caramelized pear in a modified carbonara sauce and a fresh arugula pesto with spaghetti alla chitarra . It was all divine! One of the best dishes we had on our entire trip. The class was small only 7 people total so the instruction was very hands but all the tasks of chopping, rolling split between the group. She was funny, kind but keep us on track and focused. I was able to recreate the pasta recipe once I got home as I felt confident and capable just from the one class. She went over all the ingredients, tips, and tools while making jokes the whole time. I cannot recommend this class enough. It was one of the true highlights of our trip which I will remember for a lifetime.
