The first cooking course and I will be back

What a fabulous time we had. Not just did I learn all about pasta and received tips how to make a pasta sauce even more delicious, it was entertaining too. I will be back in Florence and definitely do another cooking course with the school.

Worth every penny and so memorable

The chef was very helpful and explained each step of the cooking process. They also accommodated all of my dietary restrictions. It was so nice to cook with other tourists and eat lunch together. Each table has 6 people, so the groups were small and intimate. Would highly recommend this experience!

Delicious recipes and good instructions

Our instructor was sweet and good at explanations. The food turned out excellent. The only draw back was the noise. Although we were a small group, they were many small groups in the kitchens which made for a loud environment. Overall, still an excellent and enjoyable experience.

Worst Experience of My Trip
Katlyn_G
, Jun 2022
I booked this class after reading the reviews, which are great. However, I don’t know who is writing these. Half of the class was spent waiting: in the beginning we waited for around 30 minutes for the class to start and then after we waited an hour for the food to be ready. It says 15 people max - they mean PER TABLE. There were at least 50 people all crammed into one room. We could barely hear the instructor, and we had to put everything into one pot (no individual stations). At the end we didn’t even get to eat our own creations, just a mix of 50 people’s. The worst part was: one bottle of wine per table of six people at the very end. That was it. I also got to eat maybe 3 raviolis and they tasted terrible. My boyfriend and I left early because we were starving and got dinner after. So disappointing and not worth it - PLEASE do not do this class.

Good but big class
David_W
, Jun 2022
Good class. Food was all good - only FYI is that it’s 15 people per chef - our class had about 40 people in it and took longer than I expected. Our cooking class in Rome was only 10 people total with 2 chefs/support. Still this is a good experience just be warned it’ll be bigger than you think and may take a bit longer than 3 hours .

Friends, mistakes, and food!

What I loved about this tour was that our table became friends over the experience. The instructor was so nice and didn’t make us feel bad about mistakes and turned them into new creations. I would recommend this to everyone visiting Florence!

Enjoyed the teaching and communicating with the instructor. He explained things very clearly and with a nice sense of humor. The hands on was good and then eating the meal a rewarding and satisfying experience.

Fun & tasty session

This was a great experience. Our group of 14 people learnt to make 3 different types of pasta (gnocchi, fettucine and ravioli). Katarina, our chef was friendly and explained well. You do not have to be an experienced cook to do this. It was a fun experience meeting new people and once cooking was over, we sat down together and ate what we had made. It felt like a real achievemeng knowing we had made it all from scratch! At the end we were given the recipes to try at home.

Must Experience!
Mallory_M

This class we’ll exceeded expectations! My bf and I had so much—it was nice to befriend other people in our class, and the instructor was hilarious and patient. We learned so much making 3 different kinds of pasta and sauces(with vegetarian inclusivity!) plus dessert. The final result was DELISH. Some of the best pasta i’ve ever had. If you’re like me and reading everyone’s reviews on everything you’d like to do, stop right now. Stop reading reviews and book this class. You won’t regret it.

Pasta-making - a perfect morning of carb-loading. What else could you need?
Sharon_C
, Mar 2022
We had a great morning cooking with Chef Francesco. He was a great host and very informative. We made fettuccine, gnocchi, and ravioli and then enjoyed the fruits of our labor. If you're an advanced cook, the class might be a little simplistic, but it was nonetheless very enjoyable and we learned a few new things along the way. There were four of us in our group and we all had a great time creating pasta and savoring the lightest gnocchi I've ever eaten. Little pillows of happiness.

We absolutely loved our chef. She was great with people and knowledgeable. My daughter, her friend, and I had fun. My only wish is that the groups were smaller so that there was more for each of us to do. With that said, we would still do it again. Also, the food was delicious!
