Small Group Tour of Los Cabos

We are sorry to read that you had an average experience (3 stars) during your Small Group Tour of Los Cabos as more than 95% of our clients has experienced a very good (4 stars) to excellent (5 stars) tour over the last couple of years resulting in the Viator´s Badge of Excellence for many years. Going back to your review, we see that in your opinion the glass factory was interesting, the tequila tasting was fun, and the jewelry shop nice but expensive. Please note that we visit this last place to tell you more about the pearl fishing which was back in time a very important local economic activity. Over here, just like at any other stop (glass blowing factory, tequila- and chocolate tasting) there is no obligation to buy at all, which is expressed by our tour guide at any time. Finally, Los Cabos is the most expensive part of Mexico and as the jewelry shop is an independent supplier, they settle their prices based on the material, design, time, and effort they put on their pieces. We are glad to read that Uvaldo shared a lot of knowledge about Mexican history. As a certified tour guide with many years of experience he is - as you can read in many other reviews as well - a wealth of knowledge and very passionate about his culture, willing to answer all your questions and even give his opinion on certain issues when asked by the tour participants. We can only conclude that your average experience is based on the disappointing lunch and chocolate tasting. We are sorry to read that your salad with chicken arrived after your husband finished his hamburger. Normally, all tour participants receive their food and drinks at the same time. Please note that we choose fine suppliers, however, we do not own or operate the restaurant. Therefore, on behalf of the restaurant, we would like to apologize for this inconvenience and kindly invite you to leave a review concerning their service on their web site. With respect to the chocolate tasting, as mentioned on the web site of Viator (under “Additional Info”), “The chocolate tasting takes place in a small chocolate factory, except on Sundays, when this local factory is closed. On this day the tasting will take place in a souvenir shop. In both locations you can taste different types of Mexican artisanal chocolate”. As you took this tour last Sunday, your chocolate tasting took place in the souvenir shop with a variety of Mexican artisanal chocolate. We are sorry to read that you “thought it was going to be a chocolatier”, however, on the web site (under “Overview” and “What´s Included”), there is no reference to a chocolatier (just Mexican chocolate tasting), and again under “Additional Info” the souvenir shop is mentioned for the Sunday tour.
