Our main meeting point for this tour is Immigration Museum, 400 Flinders St corner of Market St, Melbourne @ 11:45am (winter) and 13:45pm (summer).

  • No photography or filming is permitted at the Penguin Parade. Penguins have sensitive eyes and a bright, sudden flash or unusual light can frighten or disorientate a penguin.
  • Child fare prices apply from 0 to 12 years old. Infants aged 0 to 4 are not permitted to travel on adult laps and must be safely restrained within a child protective seat. Infant protective seats are free of charge and must be requested at time of booking.
  • Children 17 years old and under must be accompanied by a legal guardian or adult.
  • Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately (it can get cold)

Amazing Day Trip to Philip Islands

Our tour guide Madge was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Koalas and the history of Philip Islands! We went on a Saturday and it was surprisingly quiet with little people and we were able to see the Koalas up close! Very happy that we went on this tour as we also got to see the Grand Prix race track and some beautiful coastal sights before heading down to Penguin Parade to see the penguins at sunset! It was a great day that was well spent and I would definitely recommend it to everyone, the pick-up and drop-off aspect was also really convenient! Great tour and hope more people will sign up for it, thanks so much for a great day at Philip Islands!

No WiFi in the bus so the description is wrong and lunch is very basic. Just a simple sandwich which is not that good and a tea . Otherwise it was a good day , we saw different places :)

My husband and I were visiting for our honeymoon, and we were excited to see the Penguin Parade. Our tour guide was great and we enjoyed all of the stops that we made on this day trip. Australia has so much to offer for sightseeing, so we really enjoyed ourselves. The only part that was a little disappointing was the penguin parade at the end of the tour. There aren't as many penguins to see as we were under the impression. Also, the event is so packed with tourists that people make it difficult to see the penguins coming out of the water, because they block all the good views. If you're going to attend this parade, I recommend you pay the upgrade price of getting the preferred seating so that you are up close to where the penguins come out of the water. We sat in the general seating area, and it was disappointing. We did see penguins and enjoyed the experience, but it was while we were walking towards the exit that we saw the penguins along the boardwalk area.

Fun day! Lots of sights to see, so be prepared for a long day. I enjoyed exploring the different parts of Phillip Island and it was definitely worth the extra to sit closer to the penguins as they came to shore in the evening.

A reserva natural é legal, mas só permite fotos de longe com os coalas. Infelizmente, nosso guia ainda teve um problema com o ônibus e a segunda parte do passeio foi meio tumultuada. No final, confesso que a chegada dos pinguins não atendeu as expectativas. Eles são pequenos e passam muito longe da área destinada aos observadores. Só no final que é possível vê-los melhor, quando já saíram da praia e estão indo para os ninhos.
