We learned how to make 2 kinds of pasta tiramisu and sauce. Everything was delicious and Barbara was a wonderful teacher and host. We enjoyed ourselves in her beautiful home.
High expectations, exceeded

We absolutely agree with the other reviewers who said this was the highlight of their time in Tuscany. It's hard to sum up exactly why that is, but there's just something so special about being invited into the home of an Italian with such deep roots in the Montepulciano area, who is kind and open and a darn good cook. Barbara was truly a delight, we enjoyed the other guests also participating, and each of the three courses we made were incredible. We left full, and so happy, and determined to actually make fresh pasta again in the future. Definitely, definitely a worthwhile experience. Thanks, Barbara!
Hightlight of our trip!

Three of us signed up for this class, not totally knowing what to expect. What we got was the highlight of our trip. Barbara was an excellent host. She taught us about the area, their daily life, and great cooking instruction. Everything was well organized and spotless. I will certainly plan to try one of these classes again!
Best experience in Montepulciano!

Fantastic experience!! Barbara is an excellent teacher and wonderful host. She made us feel at home as we made pasta for the first time, and confident we could follow her recipes successfully in the future. Would absolutely do this again!

Best 4 hours of our trip!

Wow, we are in love 😍 Coming to the cooking class we didn't really know what to expect - it's always a little strange coming into someone else's home. To start, Barbara and Raffael and their two adorable little dogs waited outside the house (although we were 10 minutes late) and welcomed us with huge smiles which instantly made us feel we arrived at the right place. After which, we were welcomed with a fresh plate of Picorini cheese, bread and green beans... and wine, a lot of wine. We instantly fell in love with the house and with them! After a little chat we recieved the aprons and started to cook - making pasta and Gnoochi from scratch as well as the sauce and Tiramisu for dessert. It was fascinating to learn about the life in Italy and we enjoyed the conversation so much, as well as meeting the rest of their amazing family! We felt Italian for one morning. And the food... We've been traveling in Italy for a month now and we can happily say it was the best pasta we had! DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS ❤️❤️❤️

Four of us attended this special cooking class and had a great time! Our host, Morena, welcomed us into her home treating us like family. The pasta we made was delicious and the Tiramisu even better! Thank you Morena for such a great experience and for all the extra special things you did making the night so memorable!

Barbara was amazing right from the start! She not only taught us so much but we felt genuinely welcomed at her dining room table with her family!
Schöner Kochkurs
, Aug 2021
