Very Relaxed Comfortable Castle Day Trip

Ursula is an excellent and dedicated tour guide. Driver was superb and friendly and coach luxurious. The trip was well planned with sufficient time. Unfortunate that 1 group completely ignored the after lunch departure time which gave us less time at second castle; I felt the guide should have been stricter here as the rest of the coach lost out. At each castle a separate local tour guide takes over. I felt a bit 'herded' at that point as you are processed through each very busy system. The internal castle tours are extremely short and matter of fact, completely inpersonal. The displays are totally shielded from you which is disappointing. Only negative comment is that purely in my opinion the guide/driver should not ask for tip at end. This tour is expensive enough to begin with. But for a special day out it is worth the fee. The coach has some cold drinks & treats and a coffee machine which we were not allowed touch/use for some reason. Only the driver.....who was quite understandably otherwise engaged! No one was served coffee which would have been pleasant based on our very early start.

The Neuschwanstein Castle tour was a dream come true for me. Elizabeth the tour guide was great; entertaining, funny, friendly. I had so much fun. It was a little disappointing that you aren’t allowed to take pictures in the castles, but I saw them with my own eyes and bought a book with all the pictures.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with stories of Kind Ludwig II. Being able to know in advance where to go, and when, saved us valuable time and the travel from Munich was enjoyable since the coach was very luxurious. We would highly recommend this tour to others without hesitation!

This was a great trip. It is well worth it to spend the extra money for the premium tour! Our guide Elisabeth and driver Max were the best! Elisabeth was very knowledgeable and super friendly. She made sure everyone had enough time and knew options for walking vs taking a bus to the castle. There isn’t a lot of time at Linderhof so make sure and be quick when taking pictures in the gardens. Also? If there is time to go to Mary’s Bridge at Neuschwanstein before your tour do it otherwise you will have quite a hike after the castle tour. It is well worth it though.

While the guide was knowledgeable and the sights interesting, the group of 30 was not a luxury experience that permitted personalization as advertised. Better just to do the basic tour. Paid a premium price but did not get a premium experience.

Our tour by Aneta and Vlad was perfect! Even though we were on a tight schedule, it was enough time for us to have a great experience and experience all the key aspects of the tour. Both tours of the castle gave us a lot of information and interesting things to look at. Aneta gave us a history of the castles, Bavaria, and Germany which added context to the tours. I've already recommended the tour to a friend traveling to Munich in the fall.

Excellent trip. We traveled with 3 kids (9,11,13) and although it was a full day they made it so it was not too much for them. Carolina was a terrific guide and very knowledgeable. She also did a great job looking out for us. Bus was very comfortable. The castles and scenary are amazing well worth the trip.
