We had an itinerary planned for the day and had booked in advance with the intention of joining a 10am tour. We turned up 20 minutes in advance of the tour time as suggested and joined the queue. As we approached the front we were told the tour in English would not be available until 12pm. This was not indicated on the booking confirmation. We had no choice but to join the Italian tour group starting at 10a.m as we had another tour in the historic centre in the afternoon and we were flying home later that day. We therefore saw the tour but didn’t benefit from learning anything about the history of underground Naples. Disappointing.

The Naples Underground Tour was okay. I had a hard time hearing and understanding our tour guide for much of the tour since we were with a big group and there were many other groups going on at the same time. There wasn’t too much to see underground so that was a little disappointing. I wouldnt Make this tour a top priority, but it wasn’t a bad tour.
