Our guide had SO MUCH information about Pompeii. I'd never want to go w/o a guide. It was a rainy day but he timed it well so even though it was a bit miserable in Sorrento we had the perfect time at Pompeii where it mattered. A tour from the ship did it opposite and were miserable in the wet, muddy Pompeii.

Our guide had personality. It was raining for the first two stops but he helped to make it enjoyable. Pompeii was great as our guide was well versed in its history. I highly recommend this trip using Viator. Great value for the money using a Viator promo code. Our ship price was 2 1/2 times the money. We saved a lot and got a lot.

This tour offered a small group tour of Amalfie Coast, Sorrento and Pompeii. We had a great tour life who was so knowledable of his country. Pompeii was the highlight of the day and we learned so much.

Overall the tour was excellent, in particular Sylvia was brilliant, very nice, knowledgeable and she delivered the content in a good way. The tour content was excellent and as advertised, in particular Pompeii was a highlight and it was clear that Sylvia is very passionate about topic and delivery. We enjoyed the trip up the Amalfi coast and despite the weather we could see the obvious beauty. Sorrento was also stunning and it's a place we would like to visit again in the future. Overall it was a great tour and we would highly recommend it.

Sylvia was an excellent tour guide and contributed to making our tour a memorable one. Sylvia was very nice, very informative in a non scripted way. The tour content was excellent with Pompeii being my highlight. We spent a nice amount of time at Pompeii and Sylvia was very passionate about her delivery of the information and came across as learned and she had the ability to deliver the historic content in a nice, interesting way. After Pompeii we visited the Amalfi Coast and although the weather wasn't good, it was easy to see the beauty of the region. The final stop was Sorrento and we had a nice amount if free time to wander around and explore this beautiful city. Overall it was a great tour, it delivered what we expected in terms of content and Sylvia was brilliant.

Yes! Five Star all the way! Silvia was an incredibly knowledgeable, energetic, and amusing host! Pompeii and Positano were wonderful sites to visit, though Sorrento did not impress. Michele was a great driver, making us feel safe on challenging roads. You need to clone Silvia!

Fantastic tour with the best guide we have ever had! Our guide, Sylvia actually WORKS at Pompeii, so the depth of her knowledge was amazing. Incredible sites presented with amazing energy and humor. Going in, I dreaded the thought of an 8 - 9 hour tour, but left wanting to continue. Top rating!

The bus tour of the Amalfi Coast was stunning. It was a very rainy day and that somewhat took away from our experience. Pompeii was unbelievable and Deborah did a nice job of explaining the site, although we were rushed a bit. This was due to constant waiting on several in our group who kept wandering away and we had to wait for them to show back up before we could proceed to our next site. Our stops in Sorrento and Positano were great because we explored on our own without being held up by the inconsiderate people in our group. This group brought their children who were loud, obnoxious and refused to quiet down so we could hear Deborah during the bus portion of our excursion. Unfortunately, she did nothing to quiet them down, or make this group hold to our time limits. She was in a tough position, but this excursion was dampened by her not holding this group accountable for our time and expected good behavior.

A good use of the full day to explore Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii. Wish there was more time in each stop but I understand the hours had to be budgeted. We got a bit rushed in Pompeii as it was starting to rain. The guide Luca was excellent though and funny too! He made the whole thing really enjoyable.
