Returns to original departure point
Your ATV tour starts from Rock Springs, a community located in Black Canyon City, north of Phoenix. Check in with your guide for a safety briefing and training then slip on your helmet, goggles, and gloves before setting off for the Bradshaw Mountains. Rev the engine of your single-rider all-terrain vehicle and motor through the rugged landscapes of the Sonoran Desert.

The ride takes you off-road toward a private shooting range that is both educational and entertaining. See saguaro cacti and deep canyons carved by flash floods, and cross the Agua Fria River. Along the way, take in the scenic beauty and possibly spot abundant desert wildlife such as coyotes, bobcats, deer, rabbits, quail, and snakes. Your guide is knowledgeable about the region's plant life, wildlife, and history, with plenty of stories to share.

Once you arrive at the shooting range, an NRA-certified instructor informs you of the use of 9mm handguns, AK47 semi-automatic rifles, and AR-15 semi-automatic rifles. Gun selections are updated on a regular basis to incorporate new and thrilling options. Ride back after your shooting adventure with new knowledge about gun safety and the Arizona desert.

It was so much fun! Tom was awesome!!! He guided us the scenic trails and shared information about the area… including the gold mine. Would definitely do again the next time I’m in AZ.

I took y girlfriend to ride and shoot on her bday. We had a great time. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We shoot and rode the trails. The owner, Brad, came up to make sure we had everything we needed. Great team and lots of fun.
UTV and shooting
, Dec 2019
The guide was excellent. He was very informative and helpful. The views were fantastic and the UTV trails were challenging and exciting. I am a very experienced ATV rider and the guide properly advised us to use the UTV's. Driving a 4-wheeler over all over those rocks and hill climbs would have been exhausting and a bit dangerous. The UTV's were a blast and the right choice. Shooting the Barrett 50 Cal sniper rifle was awesome! I would make one suggestion to the management of Arizona Outdoor Adventures and that would be to have the guns already set up and ready to go when we get to the range. We wasted a lot of time getting guns set up and some guns were missing and one of them didn't have enough clips. The guide made up for it with a lot of scrambling and gave us some extra shooting for the inconvenience but it would have been better if it was all ready to go when we got there.

Great time! My guide Tyler was great and very knowledgeable about guns, the terrain and the Native American history of the land. My only complaint would be I would of liked to have more targets to shoot at on the range.

Awesome!! Our guide Chas was brilliant. You start by riding round their test track to check you're up to the journey on an ATV, if not they can put you in a UTV which is more like driving a car. You guide drive one to carry everything for you like water. Once you and they are comfortable to ride on ATV, you set off it take about an hours and half of ride through hills and all sorts of terrain to get to the range. You then spend a very fun our hour on the range and ride back. We were out on a work trip and it made for a great end to the trip! It's not cheap but worth every penny/dime!
