We cannot fault any part of this tour, it was amazing. This was mainly down to our guides unbelievable knowledge. Our guide was called Massimo from When In Rome Tours and he explained that he was an art historian and he really did know so much. His knowledge was unbelievable, explaining all the main highlights clearly and in such detail right down to the dates that things were built, painted, sculpted etc. The climb to the top of the St Peter's Basilica dome was a challenge, 300 plus narrow steps to the top, non-stop but the view from the top was worth it.

Claire was great!! Definitely one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. Really fun day. Favorite part was the climb to the top of the dome! The early morning meeting time was great for getting pictures in the square before anyone else was there.

Climbing the Dome is a must, the view is breathtaking and it's amazing to see the interior and millions and millions of small pieces of golden, silver, bronze, lapis lazuli and other valuable stones which are used for mozaic on all walls and the whole ceiling instead of paintings - fantastic! The entire Vatican is special with it's rich story, huge walls and statues and so much power and glory it shows through those expensive masterpieces, it's really worth visiting and hearing the history.

The vatican tour was nice but very hot. The vatican hasno air conditioning. It was very hot but it was 90 out side skip the li e is a must as the wait was at least 2 hours or more in the hot sun . I went in September.
