Our tour of the Sistine Chapel was exhausting. Our tour guide was informative and tried really hard, but she was difficult to hear. There were just too many people and it was hard to move. She actually lost us once and we had a hard time locating her. When we did move, we had to run to make sure we didn't lose our guide again. It was not her fault, but it was not a pleasant experience. I would not take this tour again unless it was off hours with less people. On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoyed the catacombs tour. It was not crowded and I could hear everything the tour guide said. She was terrific. She was very informative and interesting. After that we went to the Holy Stairs and 2 churches-San Giovanni and Santa Maria Maggiore. They were an unexpected, and a pleasant surprise. The tour guide for this trip was excellent. He gave us a lot of information and was never boring. After the tour he was very helpful in guiding us back to our hotel.

Pick up shuttle was 45 min late. Organization was unclear throughout the day. Tour guide was lacking, wished more was covered in the Vatican Museums rather than sitting in one room for 30 min. Overall, would not recommend this tour to others.

Excellent tour guide, and the Vatican is mind-boggling! Being able to be front-of-line saved a long wait, and gave us more time inside. Our guide provided wonderful dialogue, and lots of time to see what was talked about.
