We had a lovely evening enjoying the food and wine tasting tour. I do think for the price of the tour - they were rather stingy on quantity of wine.

We always start our trips with a food and wine tour. We have been to Rome several times and have done other tours, but this one was fantastic. While we didn't walk around the city moving from restaurant to restaurant, we were down in a private room with glasses surrounding each place setting, and course after course of food brought to us. Our "teacher" was wonderful and interactive, letting us guess smells, aromas, tastes of wines just poured and then again after tasting food. It was a nice way to meet some new people, taste some great wine and be given the opportunity to order some at the end of the dinner. A great way to learn about Italian wines and the foods they pair with.
