Day 1: Rome Sightseeing and the Vatican
Start your day with pickup from your Rome hotel, and travel into the center with your private driver. Your morning kicks off with a sightseeing tour that takes in a mix of Rome’s classic sights along with some that the usual tourist itineraries miss. Visit Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the Spanish Steps alongside Santa Maria della Pace. See the Ponte Sant’Angelo, lined with angel sculptures by Bernini, and admire the views of Castel Sant’Angelo aka the Emperor Hadrian’s mausoleum.
After a break for lunch, head to the Vatican with your skip-the-line ticket. Bypass the main ticket line to step inside the vast Vatican Museum complex, seeing highlights such as Raphael’s Rooms, the Gallery of the Maps, the Tapestry Gallery, and the Sistine Chapel with its lauded Michelangelo frescoes. Your day tour ends with a walk around St. Peter’s Basilica to see La Pietà, Bernini’s bronze baldachin, and the papal tombs.
Day 2: Appian Way, Catacombs, Colosseum, and the Roman Forum
After another morning pickup, travel with your guide to the Ancient Appian Way to explore the catacombs that lie beneath the old Roman road. Used as cemeteries for Rome’s persecuted early Christians, the catacombs are fascinating to explore, stretching some 93 miles (150km) in underground corridors.
From the Appian way, travel into the heart of ancient Rome for some free time for lunch and a skip-the-line tour of the Colosseum. Bypass the general ticket line, then explore the ancient amphitheater that was used for gladiatorial games under the rule of the bloodthirsty Roman emperors. Learn about the dangerous animal battles and the gladiator’s skills as you explore, then head outside to stroll around Palatine Hill. Finish with a visit to the Roman Forum, and discover the Temple of Vestal Virgins and triumphal arches among other monumental Roman ruins.

Itinerary
Admire the beauty of the enlightened Spanish Square, one of the most famous squares in Rome. Located in the heart of the roman historical city centre, the square hosts fascinating and incredible masterpieces.
In the middle of the square rises the famous Barcaccia Fountain, dating to the beginning of the baroque period, sculpted by Gian Lorenzo Bernini and his father. At the same time, the square is crowned by the impressive Spanish Steps, an imposing 135-step staircase decorated with many garden-terraces, splendidly adorned with flowers in spring and summer. The sumptuous, aristocratic staircase, was designed so that the scenic effects increase more and more while approaching to it, as typical feature of the great baroque architecture.

Discover Navona Square.
This huge square, once used to performed incredible battleship, hosts scuplture and architectrural masterpieces such us Bernini's Four River Fountain and Borromini's church Santa Agnese in Agone. It is considered to be the most beautiful and elegant baroque squares.

Take a stop to admire the Trevi Fountain, that is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world, even appeared in several iconic movies like "La Dolce Vita" and "Roman Holiday".
The great night-time lighting highlights the gorgeous decorating sculptures of this baroque masterpiece, creating a magical and romantic atmosphere.
Belonging to the fountain is the legend whereby throwing a coin in the fountain you will ensure your return in Rome.

This is one of the most important archaeological areas in the world with some of Ancient Rome's most evocative ruins, including the Temple of Julius Caesar, Arch of Titus, House of the Vestal Virgins, Senate House and Basilica of Maxentius. Admire the Roman Forum's Sacred Way, the triumphal road where the Centurions of Caesar marched after their return from countless battles and conquests.

After you walk through Palatine Hill, explore the site of an older settlement from the 9th century BC.
