Crossing Borders: Tijuana Day Trip from San Diego

This tour was very cool and different. I had to walk and meet Tadeo the tour guide on the Mexican side of the border which was completely intimidating since I was traveling alone. Everything turned out well though! Tadeo was very communicative and easy going. He looked out for the crew and made everyone feel comfortable. It was very fun. Especially the tequila tasting!

Tadeo was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history. He was very kind and patient too. I was skeptical when I booked this but it was really great and helpful to have a tour guide. I do wish we could’ve stopped at more shopping stands, that would be my only suggestion to make the experience better. I do think people want to have more opportunity to look at the items for sale. One of the great things is how cheap we can buy things there so I would’ve liked more time for that.

I would like to warn you please don’t book with this company they changed just some hours before the meeting point of meeting they said we have to meet after the board I’m not before the board take care they are not serious please don’t waste your money

Tadeo was amazing. He lives in Tijuana, so he is very knowledgeable about the city. I would have been nervous going by myself, so glad I did the tour with others!

The tour guide was excellent!!! The location of the met up was not clear but everything else was prefect. The tour guide really made this experience great!!!

We had booked a trip to Tijuana while on vacation in San Diego. The email we received was that we would meet on the US Boarder and be guided across. When we got there about 15-20 minutes early no one was there and we did not find communicating very easy. We found out then (to the company's response they did say they sent an email that said to cross through customs and meet in Mexico). 1) this did not make my wife feel comfortable and 2) I was not clear on where we where going. The answer we where given this was covid19 restrictions, but since the pandemic has been going on for 2 years this we felt should have been in the initial email or a call/text stating that there was a change. We never went on the trip nor contacted afterwards. my wife and I have been on many tours over the years and this experience was not a pleasant one. I do hope others have a better experience then us.

It was a very nice experience to taste some Mexico in a few hours. Tadeo is a great guide - knowledgeable and engaging. He takes time to answer questions and definitely enjoys his work. Crossing the border experience was ok as well, everything is pretty clear and straightforward. However, I would really prefer kind of check-in on San Diego side instead of findling out, who else is taking the tour by walking around and asking.

The whole trip was phenomenal except for the meeting place venue it wasn’t clear enough that it was moved. There was no email notification or text or some sort of communication. But thanked much to Victor he was very professional in explaining what had happened. Victor was the great tour guide, he knows his job, polite and well mannered in all aspects. Five stars and he is a great asset for the company 🎉🎉🎉🎉

It was a great trip my 1st time out of the country. Wouldn’t mind going back one day! The food and drinks where great!
