Great Way to Spend 90 Minutes!
Jacqueline_R
, May 2022
We had a great time on this tour. The tour guide, Bailey, was incredibly outgoing and personable. She was very attentive to everyone, especially the small kids on board, and she certainly knew her stuff. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We were lucky to see sea lions and probably a seal or two on the bait barges, but the highlight was the unexpected encounter with Navy dolphins undergoing training. Very cool to see. It's a great 90 minutes and a "must do" in San Diego! Yes, it stinks that you have to check in 30 minutes beforehand or they may give your seat away, but I thought they were very clear about that, so you can't really complain. There are plenty of shops nearby to kill time while you wait.

We took my in-laws on this adventure. They both live in San Diego and have never done this. They enjoyed it and learned so much about their own city that it was great to experience together. Worth every dime of it. Hard to park tho so keep that in mind!

We had such a wonderful time on our tour. Our Captain did a great job with operations and Amy, the 1st Mate was a fabulous guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and pointed out several rare sights and confidently knew how to explain what we were seeing. I would recommend this tour for any tourist and even for the locals to go visit. We will be back!
