Pizza School Experience from Sorrento

We googled the day before, "things to do on a rainy day in Sorrento" and this activity popped up. We were collected from the hotel and the drive took 5-10 mins. There was only one other couple who happed to be from the same hotel as us which was nice. We made pizza dough, then we were taught how to stretch to create the base. Adding toppings, put in the oven and then ate. We then made our own lemon cello tiramisu. Wine was included as well as the ride back. It was a perfect activity on a rainy day but still really interesting for anyone into cooking.

We got picked up from our hotel and were taken straight to the restaurant. Luigi was our host and he was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. We started by hand making dough and whilst doing it learning about sorrento. We then topped and cooked our pizzas. I couldn’t recommend enough. Very worth while and good value.

Excellent experience. Luigi our teacher clearly knew he was doing and passed on a lot of useful knowledge. The pizzas we produced tasted really good and went well with the wine and limoncello provided. Would highly recommend to anyone

This pizza class was great! This experience was the perfect length of time- not too long and not too short. The location was just beautiful! We loved Luigi- he was funny and taught us a lot! We cannot wait to use what we learned at home.

We had a great time making pizza with Luigi. Our daughter is sensitive to gluten so we stated this in the comments when we signed up. We thought she would make a pizza and not be able to eat. Much to our surprise Luigi had gluten free flour that she could use and he had prepared dough for her 24 hours ahead so she was able to eat. The tiramisu and limoncello were also very good. We were picked up at the train station and returned to the port where we took a ferry to Positano. We thoroughly enjoyed the class.

We had a wonderful time in this pizza making class. From the start, Luigi and his staff, were attentive and made sure we would have a memorable experience. With some laughs and a little work, we made our pizzas, and dessert and ended with the customary Limoncello. Highly recommended for couples, families and everybody!

Really enjoyed learning to make true Italian pizza, the host made it fun and was very informative. Enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day and did the Italian cooking class where we made a four course meal. Followed by limonecello

We were looking forward to learning how to make authentic pizza in Italy during our trip. We were a group of 5 and we were thrilled with the experience. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with lots of smiles, seated at a table, wine and bread with olive oils were brought to the table, and we got ready to learn! It is family run and you can tell the family puts their passion into their craft. We loved the pizza school experience from start to finish! A great way to spend a few hours in the afternoon!
