Mostar and Herzegovina Tour with Kravica Waterfall from Split or Trogir

Everything is perfect, Petar our Guide gave us very useful hostorical information about Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, perfect time for every stop

From start to finish it was brilliant. It was a great opportunity to see the views of how local people live and seeii is going beautiful scenery driving along the roads. We stopped off at a village called Pocitelj which had amazing views from the top!! Good exercise there. We then went on to Mostar where we were taken around by a lovely girl giving us information on the history which was very interesting it was absolutely amazing place to go. The cobbled street with shops snd restaurants around which included the beautiful buildings around made by the same limestone. The well known bridge was well worth seeing I had a lovely meal with very pleasant staff that welcomed you. We then went to the waterfalls ……. Well what can I say? It’s such a place you dream of it was so natural with cascading moss with vibrant colours. I went into the water which was freezing but so refreshing! Also hearing the voices of all nationalities so happy to be there. We were then taken back safely by our lovely man from gray line who I would recommend for any other trips as well. Oh by the way I am a 72 years single English lady and was made very welcome by six young people from other countries

Silvio was our guide. He was an easy going, laid back guy. Very pleasant and humorous. It was an educational and great day. Loved the guide for walking tour in Mostar. She was great. Loved every minute of this great day. Great AC in bus for an extremely hot day. Suggestions: advise clients to have enough local currency as CC is seldom an option. Have Silvio provide an introduction of himself & driver as well as an idea of timeline of trip. Overalls great day.

Stairs, stairs and more stairs. Amazing place to see and visit. SOoooOoOoOo many stairs on this tour. Bring good walking shoes, a walking stick, and a great attitude. Maybe don't bring your aging parents who trip easily or babies in strollers.

Very well managed tour. Sufficient time at all three stops, very good guiding tour in Mostar, and a fun day and environment. Highly recommended!

The tour guide in Bosnia and Herzegovina was fantastic and did a great job explaining the complex and complicated history of Mostar. The guide also made many great recommendations for things to see and eat after the tour concluded. The Kravica Waterfalls were also a nice way to end the day. I would have given the tour five stars but was a bit disappointed that the on-bus tour guide did not help provide some details about Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina as we were on the bus for many hours. Even explaining the crazy process of passport control would have been interesting versus just sitting and waiting. These subtle touches would have made the tour more dynamic outside the points of interest.

Saša was a fantastic tour guide in Mostar: knowledgeable, sensitive, open, friendly, honest, polite, funny, relaxed, and kind. Silvio, our host for the bus ride, was also goofy and on-the-level. In Mostar we got an amazing view from the mosque minaret, had a delicious traditional Bosnian meal at the restaurant Saša recommended, and tried traditional Bosnian coffee at a coffee shop a local helped us find tucked away where the owner talked us through the history and process of Bosnian coffee while listening to traditional Bosnian folk songs. Kravica was incredibly refreshing after enduring the heat of Mostar and truly a beautiful place to splash around. The bus ride there was pretty quiet and the border crossing was rather tedious, though there were a few idyllic vineyard valleys along the way from up high on the highway. The bus ride back, though, we made friends with some like-minded folks. It was a great time!

If you are in Split, taking a day trip to Mostar and Herzegovina is a must. You get to experience another part of the Balkans where life is different. Mostar took a lot of damage and hits during the Bosnian War, and learning about the war, history of the city, and the resilience of the people is truly inspiring. Mostar is truly a gateway to the East where East meets West, where religions and people collide, and there is an incredible mix of culture, food and experiences. Do this trip. Kravica Waterfall is beautiful and the cherry on top of an incredible day.

Incredible tour from start to finish. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and provided lots of insight throughout the day. The itinerary couldn’t have been more perfect. It’s somewhat of a long day, but definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Peter, the guide, is excellent giving complete historical recap of what went on here during the war in the '90's, but time should be reduced in Mostar due to the blazing heat which is unbearable, thus giving more time at the Kravica Waterfall. A 12 hr. day is way too long for the incidence of weather and actual tour site.
