Look out at Lake Zurich during a brief interlude, and then cruise past monuments like the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and Zurich’s art museum.

Disembark for a leisurely stroll around Zurich’s charming Old Town (Altstadt), and admire quaint houses and grand political centers. Capture photographs of the world’s largest clock face on St Peter’s Church, and gaze at the prismatic stained glass windows that decorate Fraumünster Church.

Reboard your coach for the short and scenic journey to Meilen, where a sightseeing ferry awaits. Enjoy a tranquil crossing of the lake, and then board a cable car on arrival in Adliswil. Great potential!

We felt rushed in certain parts of the tour, especially with three young children. Barely had time to spend at the top of the cable car and no restroom break considered for the entire 4-hour excursion. Only after the first two restrooms were closed did we ask to please stop...the main operator seemed agitated. Only 10 minutes at the lake and back to the bus... Nikki from the UK was the saving grace for us. She provided lots of history and entertained the kids as much as possible. I would still recommend—just not with kids.

Dear Katrina, Thank you very much for having joined our extended city tour and for sharing your family's experience. It is important to us that also our little guests feel welcome on our tour and we therefore take your feedback very seriously. We regret to hear that the tour felt rushed in certain parts. As the aim of the tour is to give our guests a good overview of Zürich and its surroundings in just over four hours, it might not always allow for the time needed to explore at a child-friendly pace. However, the different stops allow both parents and children to get off the bus and to stretch their legs while exploring. Luckily your tour guide’s wife joined your tour and stayed with you and your children that were sleeping soundly on the bus, while he took the rest of your group on a guided stroll through the old town. Also, your group was quite small, which made it possible for your tour guide to extend the whole tour by nearly an hour and to give everyone more time at the different stops. We fully understand that the toilet situation was very inconvenient, especially for guests travelling with young children. While there are no toilets on the bus, there are public toilets available during the stop at the lakeside, near the car park before the guided old town stroll and later also at the Felsenegg restaurant on top of the cable car. Unfortunately, both the toilets at the lakeside and the car park were out of order and the group had to continue to catch the ferry in time. Well aware of the urgency of the problem (and perhaps a little agitated), your tour guide informed the ferry crew about the toilet emergency, but as they could not make an exception, the next toilet was only available after the ferry arrived in the harbour. In the unlikely event that the first two toilets are closed again at the same time, we will in future add a toilet break before boarding the ferry to ensure a pleasant trip for everybody. We hope that you and your family enjoyed a wonderful stay in Zürich and look forward to welcoming you again on your next trip to Switzerland. With best wishes from Zürich, Best of Switzerland Tours

For short stays in Zurich I would recommend this tour, as it covered all the interesting sites as well as a short walk through the "old town" The ferry across the lake and the trip up to Felsenegg was definitely worth the visit. Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable and luckily everyone spoke English. We had a beautiful sunny day and the views from Felsenegg were amazing.

Great Day out
, Nov 2019
Loved this day out , couldn't fault it, views were great and the trip on the ferry was nice. Good food at top of the cable car
The tour is a blur.

If you want to see Zurich, don't take this tour. Most of the time you are zooming around town like you're in a Fast and Furious movie. On the right is ______, on the left is ______, By the time you try to crane your neck to see the right missed the left. The guide did her best, but by trying to explain what we were seeing in two languages, you weren't sure if what she was talking about was coming up, or if you had already passed it. Very disappointing.
Not Good.
, Nov 2019
Not good. It was rainy and foggy so we could not see anything on the Felsenegg cable car. This is no one's fault, but our group was so large that we had to go up on the cable car in 3 groups. The people that had to go up last had virtually no time at the top to enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat. Also when we actually got out of the bus, the guide was rushing everywhere, did not wait for anyone, and we pretty much heard nothing that she said. On the bus she would talk about things along the way, but the bus driver was going fast and we had no idea what buildings she was even talking about.
So so tour

My husband got hurt with a sudden stop and hit his chest on the railing. The tour guide did not bother to ask if he is ok And just ignored and never showed any concern or compassion. We wanted to buy water so we can give a tip but he said the tour is done we dont sell water anymore when we wanted just a bottle. So with that being said we changed our mind on giving a tip to an in-compassionate tour guide who just told us his job is done which means its just a job for him and diesnt bother if it was an enjoyable one! Never asked if we had fun unlike other tour guide!
Good bus based Zurich area tour.
, Oct 2019
This tour was mainly a bus ride through various areas of Zurich and a good way to see the general area without too much walking. The ferry ride was on the bus to get across Lake Zurich, although you could get out of the bus while on the short, 10 minute ferry ride.
